A little sadistic but funny! Think I’m getting to much dark humor these days. Don’t watch if you are easy grossed out!

Christmas Midnight Mass has always been a family tradition for as long as I can recall. I remember fondly how I used to attend it with my whole extended family when I was very young. Then, I didn’t really understand the significance of Christmas except that after mass I would get to open my presents which were very tempting under the huge Christmas tree. Christmas eve would usually consist of lots of yummy food my grandma cooked. And the adults would force me take a nap after dinner so I wouldn’t be tired during the midnight mass. Of course I could never get to sleep! The atmosphere was way too exciting and I am pretty sure I wouldn’t feel sleepy at all till I’ve finished unwrapping all the presents and played with every single toy!
It seems that the excitement of Christmas have been dulled through the years we age. But midnight mass is still a highlight for me. Not so much for the presents anymore but for the people we love and cherish and spend Christmas with. Its a time of celebrating and being glad of how lucky we all are.
This year I met up with many familiar faces that I haven’t seen in a long time. Managed to meet up Robin with his new haircut! Sat next to Aloysius which was very sweet and snapped pics with Matthew… Melissa and Van at a real pine smelling Christmas tree!

After Christmas mass we headed down to S11 to have supper. Mum and Dad went home first cause they said the night is too late for oldies like them… lol…
The rest of us then adjourned to MacCafe for some chit chat and fooling around session. We told happy stories… scary stories….made lots of funny faces and even did arm wrestling. Not surprisingly I was the weakest of the whole group. My sis is really strong! At least amongst the gals…
Before dawn breaks we left for home… or rather most of us did. Janice and Shannon still had energy to party hop to the next location! Janice took a picture for my what are you wearing today. This time with Audrey too! I wore a silver silk issey miyake dress with a black belt and black heels. Audrey wore a brown cotton dress with a yellow polka dotted brown butterfly belt I lent her. Although I lent her the belt before seeing the actual dress.. I think it goes together perfectly!

My whole family met up for a Christmas lunch feast! We had so much food I can’t even recall what there was anymore! Some of the dishes were curry fish head, chili long beans, vegetable curry, roast chicken, stir fried sotong, egg tart, etc. Took a multitude of pictures but most of my family are shy with online exposure so you’ll probably only see pictures of my sis… Shannon and me here… lol…

After lunch it was back to my place for a chill out session of HBO and mahjong before we opened up presents!

This is my favorite picture of Shannon and Janice. I gave them a tee each for Christmas! I gave Audrey the same Levis tee as my sis except Audrey’s a black devil winged tee with a pitchfork in the front whereas Janice’s is a white angel winged tee with a halo in the front. Initially, I wanted to give Janice the Devil tee as she tends to be drawn towards the Gothic look and it would match the Live Mechanics gold and black tee I got for her boyfriend. Audrey’s style and choice of outfits are usually sweet… innocent and girly. But I decided that these 2 gals have way too stereotypical outfits and characters so the presents were swapped at the last minute!

Went to Settler’s Cafe for a Christmas party! The dress code was Christmas (duh!) and I wore a red and black BCBG dress with antlers! Yan’s version had bells on it and I also wore Mel’s Christmas hat for a game or two at the party!

We all had to bring a gift for exchange! Mine was a glass ornament with a beautiful Christmas snow scene hand painted from inside the glass ball! I’m glad Shermaine liked it! And I got Jay’s gift which is a very cute pig radio! Lol… at first I couldn’t figure out what the pink pig was for… =) Thank you!
Reached home in the wee hours of the morning and was really drained out but I still managed to take some Christmas pictures with my darling sis and Louis. Had to wake at 9am the next morning! So if you see me with dark eye circles in my pictures for the next couple of posts… you know why!
