Lost my voice sometime back and took quite a few weeks to recover.
In the end it was this disgusting Chinese medicine of bees that helped me. I really don’t want to think about it but it worked in getting my voice back. Of course I have to admit that I mixed heaps of manuka honey into the cooled black concoction to ease my taste buds. But manuka is good for healing too right!
These are the ingredients before they were cooked! I didn’t want to see what was left after the boiling process.

I had a wonderful birthday with my family this year. Dad brought me to eat yummy jap food! His orders were ” Eat as much as you like and don’t look at the price.” So sweet right? In fact we all ate so much I forgot to take pictures of the food. I was totally stuffed and was still made to eat a bowl of ramen at the end of my meal because my mum insisted that I have to eat noodles on my birthday!
They surprised me with a birthday cake at the end of the meal. I was truly shocked cause earlier in the day they were telling me that they were so sorry they forgot to get me a cake as my parent’s were busy overlooking the house renovations and I had to reassure them that it’s fine by me. They all lied very well!!!
I don’t have that much pictures to post cause my family values their privacy. Besides the pictures were still taken with my old lousy camera.

I’ll post up my wonderful birthday celebrations with my family soon! But first I wanna rave about my prezzie! The Cannon Ixus 860IS! Gives me more reason to snap and increases the likelihood of new posts! Hehehe…
I was debating over this model and the new Fujiflim Finepix F-50. Especially since my previous 2 cameras were all Fujiflim. But after trying out both camera… cannon won for me. Cause the colors are way brighter and the shutter can open longer. Another small plus is that it’s wide angle and uses SD cards which means I can plug and print with my mini sony photo printer.
