I generally don’t put my dogs at pet hotels when I travel… I leave them with friends cause I’ve seen the pet in terrible conditions at the pet hotels… at the end of the day it’s just a cage with food and water for them. I can’t bear leaving my darlings in such conditions. There is only one alternative I consider leaving my pets should my friends be unavailable which is a home run pet sitter. They give your pet a lot of attention and it has a very homely environment with free rein to play indoors or out on in their gardens.
