I love admiring the deco and ambiance of restaurants. The artful way that the food is displayed and the promptness of the service stuff.
However, deep in my heart, I always have a soft spot for local delights eaten at our local hawker centers. Nothing in the whole can quite take that place. Whenever I’m overseas and I dream of Singapore food, it’s never about restaurants or their food. It will be the Katong laksa, Bedok Blk 85 ba chor mee, Beach Rd market chicken rice or my mother’s home cooked food.

And they are easy on the pockets too! The best way to enjoy them is to go in a huge group of friends so everyone one can order different dishes to share.

And that’s what I did some time back! Met Koji, Chairman, Clara, Gio, Celeste, Dr. X and Celeste’s German dude for dinner at Bedok 85 market. Forgot to snap pictures of the food and the company cause I left my camera in the car. These few outfit shots were taken when I was walking my dogs at the nearby park while while waiting for everyone to arrive.

Sounds like a lot of fun and lots of beautiful scenery to capture! I usually can’t wait to get out of city life.
