Ok be forewarned that this is a really long entry with tons of pictures of me…. if you feel that you’re sick of my pictures then don’t read on!

I took my time around London… visiting at a leisurely pace over several days and sometimes returning to the same spot if I have the time. There are many notable churches in London and one of the more outstanding ones is the Westminster Abbey.

The gothic design of the church is very intricate and I love those high arches. This is where all the coronations for the English and British monarchs have their coronation! Many of the monarchs and their consorts are also buried here.

Other then the fabulous architecture and gothicchurch tours… my favorite hunts in most cities are their beautiful urban parks. I can’t help but seek out greenery and nature… especially the beautiful fall colors that we don’t get to see in Singapore. St James’s Park is but one of the few royal parks in London.

And I’m not sure if you’ve noticed a trend by now but I do have a soft spot for squirrels! Be it at New York or San Francisco… I can happily spend a big portion of my day just playing around with these fur balls! And if you view the video below… you’ll realize how cute they are especially when they have a hiccup!

Another place to note is of course the Buckingham Palace - the official London residence of the British monarch since Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837.

I was there in time to watch the ” Change of Guards” which are now in their winter uniform. Despite the guards display… it’s interesting to know that the palace has been broken into before with the trespasser entering the Queen’s bedroom for a chat.

The guards on the horses look so smart! They are my fave!

The Victoria Memorial stands facing the palace. It’s such a pretty statue with Angel of Victory on the top.

Other then the guards… policemen were everywhere to ensure safety… I couldn’t resist snapping a picture with them… They really do look like the ones we see on British sitcoms ya?

Next was a pleasant stroll following The Diana Princess Of Wales Memorial Walk as well as a run in the swirling falls leaves at Hyde Park.

My two favorite pictures in this walk to share with you…

And a video for this entry too! You have to see those cute squirrels!
Oh… and I’ve stopped the snowing effect on my blog cause the Christmas and New Year festivities are over!

AC came down to Singapore to visit and I was tasked to take him around and play host =) Especially since he’s always so nice to me whenever I visit Malaysia.

Well first it was off to have lunch with Celeste and Dr X at Geylang. We had the famous yummy beef horfun. Dr X had loads of fun playing with my ribbon and playing sissors, paper and stones with AC.

He’s such a cheeky little fellow! I asked him to take a picture with me and he refused to smile when the camera is aiming at him. He giggles like crazy when he’s not being captured… the little naughty one!

After lunch it’s time for mini golf! We headed down to Liliputt at Big Splash. It’s really quite fun except I kinda suck at it! The cute moving MRT trains and cable cars to transport the golf balls around are so interesting to watch!

I won’t mind doing mini golf again! A little tip – Hole 17 is possible to get hole in one!

Had food and snacks at East Coast and saw some lovely sand castles… It’s been a long long time since I built one… maybe next time the girls would wanna have a sand castle building outing! Hehe…. I’m sure Dr X would have loads of fun!

As usual… below shows my outfit for the day.

PS: I’ve added a wall on the left sidebar of my blog so you can drop me comments there as well!

If you read my last post about my mid-year resolutions… you would have read that one of my resolutions was to apply sunblock often. And a sweetie who read my blog bought me the Fancl sunblock! It’s the unexpected surprises for no apparent reason other then to show that they care that makes my heart bounce! I feel blessed to have people that keep me in their thoughts.

I’m wearing yet another maxi cause I’m a lazy bum bum that have been so affected by the hot weather recently to think of wearing anything else other than summer dresses.

Oh and lastly, I’ve decided to remove my chat box cause of all those pesky advert popups that comes with using it. So if you wanna leave me a note… leave it in the comments and I’ll reply you. Will reply to the last couple of chat box msges here.
xiaoqi: i just realised sth, are your chain link slippers from asos? i recalled seeing sth similar there, but with ribbons to tie around the ankles. it’s interesting to see how you tucked in only part of your vivienne westwood top into your shorts!
renzze: I didn’t get those from ASOS.. but ASOS always have nice shoes! Btw… I love the animal rings on your blog… my fave is the hedgehog one and the lion cub!
ber: hi babe, how much did you pay for the dvf top? n where did u get it from? TIA
renzze: I think I paid about $170… got it some time back in the states at a branded warehouse outlet so it’s much cheaper.
Minou: Is that a miu miu bag? I love miu miu and am looking forward to slowly expanding my collection.
renzze: Sharp eyes! Yup it’s the miu miu charm bag. My favorite bag from them is still the coffer though.
elie: where did u get the greyish wedges from?? its nice!!!
renzze: It’s from Charles & Keith… They are pretty old models and comes in 3 colors… I wanted the gold ones but they were already out of stock.

Everyone who knows me also must know how I love to shop especially when it comes to clothes and bags and shoes. It’s been so etched into my lifestyle sometimes I’m not sure if I should categorize it as a hobby or a personality… or maybe it’s a mixture of both.
So it’s not a surprise that friends and strangers alike ask why I never talk much about my outfits or thoughts about fashion on my blog. Well… I do discuss my outfits but normally i do it at the forums where others post their outfits as well… I love the interaction and the inspiration I get from like-minded people and usually direct my friends to go join so they can view others as well.
However when I went out with my group of gals last week… the babes complained that they can’t access forums at work and asked me to post up on my blog with more details on the individual pieces. It’s not that the thought hasn’t crossed my mind.. just that the inertia to get it up and running is just too strong for a naturally procrastinator like me.
B, SK and YY… I’ve finally got down to it thanks to your constant bugging.. I’ll post up real soon!

I finally got my updates to work and I love the fresh new look of my site! I still need to work on some of the backgrounds but I promise it will be soon and I also hope this change will give me more motivation to update frequently. As turned the audio on as default but you can just stop it manually at the Synchrony section (located in the sidebar) if you’ve got your own music running.
Many many thanks to Tom @ Windy Road for helping me out with the bugs!
And locally there is Eddie to thank too!
PS- I’ll post pics of Yan’s tea ceremony when I get the pictures from her.

For some reason after I updated my blog’s version… it doesn’t do too nicely on firefox. All my old comments are also lost!! I’m totally distressed! It makes it worse that I’m in a busy period of my life…
Please bear with me while I seek help to fix it.
PS- Recca4… I added you babe!
