My lemmings!

Wishing all my readers a very Happy National Day! I’m proud and happy to be a Singaporean and only wish the best for the progress of our nation. Don’t forget to say your pledge at 8.10pm tonight!

ClubCouture gave all their ambassadors a chance to design a dress and the 2 most popular dresses would be manufactured! Here’s my entry.

It was something I personally would love to wear. Simple and sweet in the front with just a hint of sexiness at the back. The dual layered skirt would also give more volume and the cut will suit just about any body shape! So it’ll look just as good for those with an hour glass figure, those who are apple shaped or even those who have a more boyish athletic shape!

So if you would like to see this dress manufactured and produced by ClubCouture, join the ClubCouture facebook page and “like” my design! The top 2 designs will be produced by ClubCouture and ClubCouture will select one lucky voter per winning dress, and they will win the dress they voted for!

Vote for me here!

Here was the original hand drawn version I submitted in.

Voting ends 4th August which is in 4 days time!

I’m really glad to be a part of ClubCoutures family. I was smitten after the very 1st outfit they sent me. You all might recall the lovely black maxi with sexy straps at the back which I wore in Bali. ( Click here if you want to see the full post.)

ClubCouture is an international fashion label and have been prominent in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. And I’m glad it has picked Singapore to expand its’ business.

It’s not everyday that a girl like me stumbles upon a fantastic well established online retailer that gives the reassurance and professionalism surpassing many boutiques’ services. Being able to work with a company that cares and listens to their customers and ensures high quality products is very important to me. I will never bring something I don’t personally trust to my readers.

ClubCouture brings in new arrivals daily so it’s difficult not to get tempted every time I go to their site. In fact I wore this black and white eyelet dress on my trip to Penang and garnered tons of praises even though it was such a simple design. These pictures are actually a sneak peek to my trip since I haven’t gotten around uploading the rest of the trip’s photos. I just had to share with you the lovely dress first!

Having designers from different part of the world means there’s something for everyone. Although their clothes comes in limited quantity to maintain exclusivity so if you see something you like, you better grab on fast! I had considered 3 dresses previously from their site but since I was abroad I decided to hold the ordering till I was back in Singapore. 2 days later, all 3 pieces were out of small sizes… Argh!!!! In the end, I went ahead and ordered 1 of the dress ( a long sleeve dress) in medium and I intend to alter it to fit. It was too pretty to just let go even though it was out of stock in my size. When I received the package, it was everything I imagined it to be and I was so glad to have ordered it! I’m gonna send it to the seamstress after Christmas and hopefully you’ll get to see me wearing it sometime in January!

I will still enjoy shopping at boutiques and travelling the world to find little fashion gems to add to my wardrobe collection but as far as online shopping for clothes go, I found my mecca in ClubCouture. And since it is international, it means I can send my girlfriends working, studying or living in US, UK and Australia surprise gifts by ordering through the site. It’ll save me all the hassle of going to the post office and having to pack the items neatly.

And in light of the coming Christmas spirit of giving, I have 2 great offers to share with you. Firstly, if you shop at ClubCouture , just enter RENZZE15 at the shopping bag before you check out and you will get 15% off your merchandise!

And the 2nd piece of good news is…

ClubCouture is currently having a Christmas Wishlist Giveaway!

Simply put, just click here ( or use the image link on my sidebar) to go to ClubCouture to start your Christmas List. Browse and add the items that you would love to receive for your Christmas presents and if you’ve been a good girl this year, Santa (or in this case, ClubCouture) might pick you to win $100 worth of items! One lucky gal will have her dreams come true every week! And the since there is no purchase necessary, there’s nothing to lose… so go and do up your wish list now!

I’ve already done mine =) Here I am sharing my personal ClubCouture wishlist below with all of you! I even added my own comments under each of my wish items! Friends and family, send me yours!

If you have a friend, family or love one that with the best of intentions always seems to give you gifts that you don’t really fancy, you could also email them your wishlist so they don’t have to search high and low for that perfect gift for you. Wouldn’t it be nice to have that gorgeous ClubCouture satin dress you saw on the site instead of a copy of a book you already bought for yourself or a vase that looks pretty but have no place in your home. Make the spirit of giving easier on your love ones and yourself!

The best part? Whether you win the Christmas Wishlist Contest, or get a present from a good pal or buy it as a Christmas gift for yourself, you will always emerge looking fabulous at late-night soirées or Christmas parties with ClubCouture‘s glamorous styles.

So head on to www.clubcouture.cc today.

This is gonna be my last post about my Tokyo trip with my girls. The whole trip was planned to give Sushi a unique Hen’s Night so we couldn’t leave Japan without having at least one real hens’ night outing with some challenges!

We met some lovely Japanese people and 2 very friendly and helpful lads that took us to a hip hop club so we could have some girly fun! One of them actually knows Sharon Au (they studied together in Japan) and he was a little surprise when he found out she wasn’t kidding with him when she told him that she was pretty famous in Singapore… lol.

As a part of her hens night challenge, Sushi had to wear a singlet on which we wrote in Japanese – ” I’m going to be married soon. If you think I’m pretty, sign on my shirt!” or at least something along those lines.

And despite the language differences, it wasn’t too difficult a tasks cause the Japanese folks at the bar were really friendly and spontaneous! With most laughing away with us and happily congratulating Sushi. I’ll let the photos do the talking of our night out. You can click on the photo below if you want to see the larger version.

The night ended well with the singlet top filled with signatures! All from men of course except for the small little compliment on the front of the top that says ” You are really pretty” by one of the Japanese girls at the pub.

After all that partying, we slid on our trench coats and walked in the crisp morning air to the nearest Danny’s for some extremely early breakfast!

The boys came along with us. In Tokyo, the culture is that they party till dawn so they can catch the subway home.

Here are the food pictures!

The boys sent us home to our hotel after exchanging contacts. So sweet right?

We spent the rest of the next day shopping at Shibuya 109! We were too busy shopping that I didn’t have time to snap any photos! But you can be sure all of us were really happy with our purchases and wished we had more luggage space to bring back even more stuff!

I don’t normally blog about my buys but I’ll blog about a few items I absolutely regret not getting (or not buying more of ) at Peach John when I was at Shibuya 109.

Firstly is these 2 gorgeous apron. I felt it was a pretty frivolous buy since it is way too pretty (and expensive) to be dirtied in the kitchen but the moment I was on the plane I regret not getting it. Sigh. I really really like the blue one… and mildly considered the pink one cause it was on sale for 1/2 price.

Secondly, is these 2 pouches I bought for my girlfriends back home… I wanted to get another one for myself too but they only had 2 pieces in stock at the Shibuya 109 branch and I didn’t have time for them to transfer pieces over for pickup at another time.

Lastly is this Peach Johns Instant Make-Up Cream. Since Peach John is actually a lingerie store I didn’t trust their make-up products and only bought this tube on a whim cause I got attracted to the packaging and all it promises. But I find it to be really good! Fine and light textured and absolutely natural. It’s an all in one moisturizer, lifting primer, sunscreen SPF 25 PA++ and natural cover which is perfect for a lazy person like me. My make up routine consists of a 5 mins slap of this cream, eyeliner and falsies. Just 3 steps! And silly me only bought 1 miserable tube that will finish pretty soon! I should have tried it on in the store… then maybe I would have stocked up a few more.

So if any kind souls would like to help me buy these stuffs I left out on my trip please contact me at renzze@gmail.com if not I have to make another trip to either Japan or Hong Kong (they have one Peach John outlet) hoping they still stock these limited edition items.

Finally the time to leave Japan and return to Singapore has arrived.

We grabbed our last meal together in Japan at the airport and spent the rest of the time shopping around for boxes of goodies, spending whatever yen we have left.

Sweet Sushi gave each of us this sweet cookie ball at the airport to thank us for the memorable hens night she had and wonderful time she had in Japan. It’s so pretty I couldn’t bear to eat it till the day before the expiry!

And I got quite a number of queries from readers and friends about my cabin luggage. This is the only few close up pictures I have. I checked in my large baby pink Lojel luggage and still had this many things to hand carry up with me into the plane… lol… I absolutely bought too much!

Here’s a video of the Sushi’s Hens Night and the girls at the airport to sign off the last post of this Tokyo trip. Hope you guys enjoyed the photos.

Pardon my tired looking pictures. I just went home to have dinner with my parents. My mum is the best cook in the whole world! I absolutely love home cooked food. My mum whipped up these dishes from the food stuff that we used to for offering to my maternal grand-dad.

And I’m also really happy about my latest buy!

Hehe… that’s right! I got myself the BlackBerry Bold. I know I’m a little slow with smart phone cause everyone has been carrying one from a few years back but better late then never right?

Actually, believe it or not, my first choice was a slim tiny pink old technology Sony Erricson T700. I was drawn to the fact that it was super slim and cheap. But as fate would have it, the store was out of it cause it’s too old- fashion. So I started pondering about smart phones and I considered the HTC android phone which proved too geeky and the iphone which was overhyped. And I realized that I keep coming back to the Blackberry so I took the plunged. And I’m really happy with it!

I’ll post up my wonderful birthday celebrations with my family soon! But first I wanna rave about my prezzie! The Cannon Ixus 860IS! Gives me more reason to snap and increases the likelihood of new posts! Hehehe…

I was debating over this model and the new Fujiflim Finepix F-50. Especially since my previous 2 cameras were all Fujiflim. But after trying out both camera… cannon won for me. Cause the colors are way brighter and the shutter can open longer. Another small plus is that it’s wide angle and uses SD cards which means I can plug and print with my mini sony photo printer.
